JOB SUMMARY Elevanta, an Atlanta area association management company, has experienced significant growth over the past several months with additional client groups. Elevanta managers several franchisee associations made up of franchise owners from multiple brands (Planet Fitness, Burger King, Buffalo Wild Wings, Qdoba, and more). We are looking for an experienced professional to manage multiple associations. The Association Manager is responsible for the day-to-day business operations of their assigned association(s). The position is located in our Kennesaw, GA office in a casual, team-oriented and friendly environment.
JOB DUTIES • Serve as primary representative of the association to Executive Teams, Boards of Directors, members and external service providers, such as outside legal counsel, to create positive partnerships and outcomes for the associations • Implements directives and goals of Executive Teams, Boards of Directors and associations’ committees • Ensure compliance with Boards’ policies • Manage annual new Board member orientations • Draft articles on behalf of Association Chairmen for quarterly publications • Oversee association specific education programs • Coordinate membership survey process with outside third party vendor • Oversee and coordinate (via Elevanta team) Annual Summits, conventions and Annual Meetings • Coordinate all Executive Team and Board conference calls and quarterly Board meetings • Manage associations’ annual dues and membership renewal processes • Follow up with member associations and individual franchisees to encourage membership participation • Oversee the financial health of Associations working in collaboration with Elevanta CEO on annual budgets and monthly analysis of associations’ financial results • Assure organizations’ goals are accomplished within budget • Strategic development of new business programs/opportunities to meet the needs of membership • Develop and maintain business partner relationships • Monitor legal aspects of Associations and interface with legal counsel • Negotiate and review various contracts and legal agreements • Provide support for the Chairmen, Boards of Directors, Executive Committees, and Committee Chairmen to help them fulfill their duties • Perform duties as assigned by the Elevanta CEO
Mid-management level association management experience, preferably in the franchise or hospitality industry
Bachelor’s degree in related field at minimum
Minimum of five years association or applicable business management experience
Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of financial management, association management, convention management and Board governance
Ability to build strong relationships with volunteer leaders
Understanding of the basics of franchise law and the franchising model
Ability to travel
