The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), a Washington, DC based trade association, is seeking a Senior Accountant who will serve an integral role in supporting financial reporting and operations by providing timely analysis of budget, financial reports, and financial trends. The Senior Accountant will support investment tracking and reporting, cash flow tracking and management, and development of annual budget and budget forecasts. The position will provide technical financial guidance to staff on the full range of financial processes, workflows, and priorities. Responsibilities also include supporting the annual audit process and other special projects as requested.
Qualified candidates will have strong analytical skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must possess expertise in working with Great Plains or similar software and MS Excel.
A minimum of three years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field of study, is required. Public accounting experience is a plus. CPA is a plus.
