The Manager, Membership will be responsible for supporting all Membership activities – recruitment and retention, member services and engagement; oversight of all membership database activities, data collection and reporting; and providing assistance with other department activities.
Works with Director, Membership and Credentialing and Director, Marketing and Communications to prepare and implement a membership marketing plan for recruitment and retention efforts.
Manages membership database and information including tracking membership statistics; coordinating membership invoicing process, and responding to member requests.
Implements and oversees operation of membership benefits programs, conducts regular membership survey, and makes recommendations to Membership Committee regarding the inclusion of new member benefits.
Coordinates production of annual membership directory.
Assists in the review, evaluation and proposal of policies, materials and procedures related to the Academy's membership activities for recommendation to Membership Committee and Board of Trustees.
Coordinates meetings and activities of the Membership Committee.
Assists Director, Membership and Credentialing to prepare annual budget for all membership activities.
Staffs AAID booth at Annual Conference, District Meetings and external profession events
Bachelor’s degree and/or 3 – 5 years’ experience working in relevant areas with an individual membership association
Proven ability to plan, track and perform multiple tasks, manage multiple priorities and maintain consistent attention to detail
Proven success tracking and creating metrics for membership activities
Excellent oral and written communications skills, sales experience a plus.
Experience with CRM/AMS required, Avectra Net Forum Pro a plus.
High level proficiency in Microsoft Office—MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop a plus.
Problem solving ability a must; creativity a plus
Ability to travel approximately 10% of time including being away from home for 8 consecutive days for Annual Conference.
