Administrative, Clerical, Support, Development and Foundation, Education and Training
In this role, the coordinator will help the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) and American Foundation for Surgery of the Hand (AFSH) administer important hand and upper extremity initiatives supporting education, outreach, and research. The coordinator will be responsible for maintaining all ACCME documentation as it relates to speaker and faculty information for all Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs. Additionally, the position will support the Hand Society/Foundation in administering its outreach activities and research grants program. Lastly, the coordinator will assist with administrative/fundraising activities of the AFSH. This position has a dual reporting structure with 65% oversight by the VP of Professional Development and 35% by the Foundation Director.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of responsibilities, each with different deadlines and deliverable dates.
Self-directed, ability to succeed without constant oversight.
MS office power user
2-3 years of work experience
Experience with nonprofit organizations
Experience in managing web content for learning organization
