The HRS Manager, Web Development will take a hands-on role in designing, building, implementing and improving our Digital Delivery and Experience across the Society. Working within the Digital Technology and Data Analytics team you will help identify and develop forward thinking solutions that support HRS’s overall digital strategy with focus on user flow and experience throughout our digital ecosystem. We are a small team that works together to deliver big results.
Responsible for designing, coding, testing and implementing websites from layout to function. Create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
Responsible for day-to-day project management for Web based technology projects. This includes planning, requirements definition/documentation, developing, reviewing technical design solutions, testing, documentation and implementation.
Provide development, coordination, oversight and project management of the workload and work product of our current Content Management System (CMS) vendor support.
Working closely with external partners to ensure that processes and technology are implemented in a manner consistent with the desired HRS User Experience and support process simplification and standardization.
Ensure content is created/edited with SEO in mind to achieve highest possible rankings in search engines.
Review emerging online, mobile, technology and social opportunities and participate in ideation brainstorms.
Remains up-to-date with the latest design trends and software updates by regularly reading and viewing periodicals and websites that pertain to these topics.
Education and Experience:
3-5 years in managing and developing web-based initiatives and projects, UX design and user flow experience a plus.
3-5 years experience in managing projects. Experience in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Multi-media, or similar.
Candidate must possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; be extremely detail oriented, resourceful, solution driven, graceful under pressure, and able to take initiative. Healthcare background a plus.
Strong analytical, root cause analysis and complex problem solving skills.
Ability to articulate and translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications.
Experience with Google Analytics and AdWords.
Basic familiarity with PHP5 with Symfony 2.0 Framework a plus.
Experience with a content management systems (CMS) and/or eZPublish a plus.
Experience with Web and digital marketing a plus.
Experience with SaleForce a plus.
