The Director of Membership and Communications is responsible for expanding our middle and high school student membership base and overseeing the FCCLA Communications. The Director is responsible for supervising staff assigned to the following areas: the membership recruitment and retention functions for the organization, and Alumni & Associate programmatic and membership efforts. This position will serve as the key contact for our chapter advisers.
Additionally the Director of Membership and Communications is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of a targeted marketing and communications strategy that will contribute to an overall effort to build the branding and visibility of FCCLA. In support of this effort, the director will determine the visual style for the organization and direct the production of all internal and external publications and collateral to progress the identity of FCCLA and to protect the organizations brand. The director will supervise staff to fulfill all public relations, marketing, design, and communication needs of the organization with a focus on new opportunities in media.
5-7 years of related experience to include administrative, membership recruitment, program development, and design. Supervisory experience necessary. Ability to support various needs and work directly with key state leaders to ensure communication and programmatic needs are met. Experience in building and supporting membership growth campaigns and communications with successful goal outcomes delivered.

FCCLA also provides up to 25 days of vacation per year in addition to 12 sick days, 1 personal day, 1 community service day and 11 holidays. After one year of service, FCCLA will contribute up to 7% into an employees 403B account.
