The Exhibits and Advertising Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing advertising, sponsorship and exhibition agreements with industry suppliers for all NCCHC educational events and publications.
Solicitation: Creates, executes and evaluates solicitation plans to insure increased revenue generation through sales programs for advertising, sponsorship and exhibition agreements. Research opportunities and create target lists by industry and type of company. Follow up with new prospects and industry segments.
Strategy: Gather strategic business information. Take responsibility for the experience the customer has with our organization. Provide benchmark against competitor subsets. Provide input on pricing and packaging opportunities.
Communications: Follow up pre and post events to assure customer satisfaction. Confirm booth assignments, facilitate and oversee exhibitor preregistration, communicate with and troubleshoot for exhibitors. Facilitate communication on company descriptions.
Logistics: On-site review of facility, facilitate development of exhibitor services manual, liaison with fire marshall, manage general services contractor relationship, provide information for signage. Work with general contractor on floor plan creation and updates. Create and manage RFP for general contractor. Send out exhibitor and advertising invoices and manage the collections process
Reporting and Data Capture: Enter exhibitor information into association database. Report on sales (ie advertising, exhibits and sponsorships) progress. Investigate new reporting features.
Billing: Process sponsorship and advertising invoices
Budgeting: Manage line items associated with exhibits, advertising and sponsorship. Investigate and resolve any financial discrepancies with the finance department. Work with marketing to manage the budget for exhibiting at industry events
Marketing: Work with marketing on the production of media kits, marketing collateral, as well as oversee the business partnership with MultiView as it relates to the Buyer’s Guide.
Exhibiting: Staff the NCCHC exhibit booth at various correctional health care meetings and shows. Investigate speaking opportunities and coordinate exhibitor registration, order processing and shipping for industry related events.
Complete other tasks and projects as assigned
Bachelor’s degree plus minimum of five years experience in exhibits and advertising a plus
Certified Exhibition Management a plus
Significant experience and track record of success in developing, planning, and executing exhibitions
Customer focused problem solver, critical thinker, and able to multitask
Budgetary and operations experience
Communication skills with multiple audiences and formats (both written and verbal)
Experience in health care organization a plus
Some travel is required
Additional Salary Information: Salary determination based on experience and license or certificate
