The primary focus of the Manager, Strategic Partnerships is to develop and execute a strategy for sponsorship sales for all IRI events, programs and services. This position also manages the relationships with our Premiere Alliance Partners (PAP) and Premiere Vendor Partners. S/he will be the lead project manager responsible for maintaining and expanding member participation in these programs.
Develop and execute a comprehensive plan for soliciting, selling, and fulfilling all sponsorship programs for all IRI conferences
Maintain and expand the participation level in IRI’s Premiere Alliance Partners (PAP) and Premiere Vendor Partners (PVP) programs
Manage all relationships with PAP, PVP and sponsoring companies throughout the year. Act as “first call” representative for these groups
Negotiate and close agreements with PAP, PVP, and sponsors
Work creatively with Marketing staff and outside design firm to create effective marketing pieces targeted to PAP, PVP, and potential sponsors
Identify new audiences and prospects for PAP, PVP and sponsors. Determine the best way to reach these new companies
Consistently evaluate the PAP, PVP, and Sponsorship programs to ensure that the benefits offered remain mutually beneficial to all parties
Curate and maintain a tracking system for involvement at all levels by PAP and PVP members. Provide monthly reports to relevant staff on these findings.
Develop new and creative expansion plans for PAP, PVP and Sponsorship Programs
Assist Marketing and Conferences in other ways as directed by VP of Conferences and External Engagement
