Basic Function of the Position: Provides high level administrative and project support to the CEO of the Consumer Technology Association. Executive liaison to the Executive Board and Board of Industry Leaders.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage logistics for leadership functions, including meetings and dinners for the Executive Board and Board of Industry Leaders (BIL). Create Board Materials and generate correspondence for leadership.
Manage the nomination process for the Executive Board, Board of Industry Leaders and CTA Foundation. Staff liaison to Nominating Committee.
Oversee preparation of President for meetings, speaking engagements, and travel to include itinerary, agenda, biographies, talking points, etc.
Assist conferences department as appropriate. Manage Investment Committee meeting logistics.
Oversee the Executive Office at CES including management of the President’s schedule and the Allied Association and VIP programs.
Execute and/or manage projects for the CEO related to the association and its members including confidential and highly sensitive matters.
Staff liaison for CTA corporate goals.
Mentor and supervise Administrative Coordinator.
Act as an ambassador for the CEO and the Executive Office with Board Members, BIL Members and Members of the Association.
Travel to Board meetings and other meetings and events as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
3-5 years’ administrative experience, with prior experience with an association preferred.
Experience working with senior executives, boards of directors and high level stakeholders is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational skills including ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, organize time effectively and close attention to detail in order to ensure accuracy.
Excellent written and oral communications skills required.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure.
Demonstrated poise with a strong member service/customer service orientation.
Prior experience working in a high-pressure environment preferred.
Must be willing and able to travel as needed.

Individual must be comfortable maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive issues and projects handled by the executive office.
