We are looking to hire an experienced Executive Director or an Association Management Company to manage our fast growing national organization for hospitality professionals. The candidate or company will be responsible for increasing organizational activities through effective and successful implementation, and development of strategic plans and new growth strategies. The candidate or company must have experience working with not-for-profit professional associations, and especially with CEO-level volunteers.
Key Responsibilities: •Train key volunteers on association management, governance, administrative and operational integrity, and implementing strategic direction. •Assess association programs and services to develop new opportunities for growth potential, and increase positive member experiences. •Develop membership recruitment and retention campaigns focusing on growth, which may include assessing membership benefits, developing budgets and proposals, implementation, analysis and re-evaluation. •Serve as direct liaison with association volunteers for leadership inquiries such as bylaws, policy and procedures, operational management, legal compliance, risk management and insurance needs, nominations and more. •Oversee daily operations, publications, events, education, information technology and communications. •Ensure all communications are professional and editorial content reflects the current guidelines and positions of the association. •Serve as spokesperson as needed; draft press releases and direct public relations efforts; interact with key media representatives. •Liaise with and participate in board of director and committee meetings. •Development of sponsorship's to increase revenue. •Create industry and organizational partnerships in order to increase the exposure of the association in the market. •With the assistance of the Board of Directors, Review and approve contracts for services.
