Small, membership association seeks an experienced professional to serve as Membership and Conference Coordinator. This is a hands-on, generalist position that requires excellent web and database skills, attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Experience in WordPress is a must. Knowledge of maintaining databases is required (i4a preferred) as well as writing and generating reports.
Assistant will; organize and run all webinars; provide administrative support for the national conference; manage registration on-site; serve as the liaison for numerous committees and take minutes at all Board meetings. Proofreading skills are required and knowledge of graphic design a major plus. Will also answer emails and phone calls from members. Travel is required for national conference and Board meetings. This is not an entry-level position. Position is telecommuting, but strong preference will be given to candidates in the DC metro area. Candidates must include a detailed letter explaining their experience in the required areas as well as a paragraph on how they would manage a telecommuting position. Potential for growth.
