Position Summary: Coordinate all activities of the CropLife America Strategic Oversight Council (“SOC”) and assist the Legal Department by performing a wide range of administrative and executive support duties of a highly responsible, autonomous, confidential and deadline-oriented nature requiring comprehensive knowledge of organizational policies, practices and procedures.

Serve as administrative support for activities of senior staff members in the department.
Perform office administration functions, including but not limited to:
Arranging and preparing materials for committee and/or Board meetings for the department, including meeting logistics, conference room reservations, catering, clean up, AV, acting as point person while meeting is in progress, etc.
Accurately drafting and editing a variety of correspondence
Maintaining filing systems
Making travel arrangements
Preparing travel and expense reports
Preparing invoices for Accounting Department processing
Maintaining up to date and accurate distribution and membership lists for various committees.
Screening and routing mail
Answering phones and responding to inquiries
Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of membership and association staff and allies.
Assist managers on routine and special projects.
Provide committee and Board membership updates to database administrator and receptionist.

Ability to be present in the office.
Strategic Oversight Council
Prepare agendas and briefing materials for the SOC.
Liaison between member companies and Association staff.
Manage necessary arrangements for all SOC in-house and external meetings, committee roster and document sharing (SharePoint) websites.

Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and the internet.
Must be able to type 50 words per minute and perform mathematical calculation

Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple competing tasks.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
Must have the proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential situation
Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
Experience with legal search engines and court docketing systems is preferred, but not necessary.
Education, Work Experience and/or Licensure
Bachelor’s Degree; two or more years of experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have strong command of the English language.
