The Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF), an award-winning public pension fund, is offering a great opportunity for the right person to join our team as a call center representative and support our busy Member & Field Services department.
We are seeking a Member Services Representative to join our team in Oak Brook.
Job Responsibilities for the Member Services Representative:
•responding to customer calls in a high volume Call Center, using our member database •solving problems and issues for the callers •handling inquiries regarding basic retirement plan issues, death claims, and refunds •creating pension estimates •counseling our members in-person •Must have strong people and communication skills to provide excellent, high quality customer service to all callers. This position involves extended periods of time at a call center workstation in a "Logged-On" position to an ACD system
Job Requirements for the Member Services Representative:
•a minimum of 2 years of experience in a high volume call center •Associates Degree a plus •excellent phone etiquette •must be available to work Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. during training (approximately 4 months), following training the regular hours will be Monday - Friday from 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
