Are you ready to work for an innovative and progressive state-wide association of association professionals? The Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE) is the fifth largest SAE and the host of the most successful CAE preparation program, an easy to use knowledge management program, and a professional development model that elevates association success. The MSAE office is located in East Lansing, Michigan.
The position leads a team of 8 that works with the over 1800 members in a focused manner to provide membership experiences that escalates members from just belonging to being engaged, proud, contributing and investing in the organization. The position starts October 1, 2018.
CAE preferred. The Board requires a leader that is familiar with associations and nonprofits. If not a CAE you must be able to achieve your CAE within 3 years. The organization favors experience reporting to a Board and an individual that maximizes resource for strategic initiatives. Financial responsibility is required for preparing, monitoring and adhering to the budget for this $1 million organization. The position interacts with a variety of stakeholders. Project management, excellent communication skills, and cultivating relationships are needed. Professional travel required.
A Masters’ Degree is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five years of experience in a management supervision role are required. The job description and Preferred Future are available at the following:
