The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) is the only national association exclusively representing the interests of private RV parks and campgrounds in the United States. ARVC is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Education & Events Manager to assist the Director of Education in the development and delivery of ARVC’s education programs and related projects. This is a full-time position requiring keen organizational skills and a willingness to handle all the details that can make or break an event. Primary responsibilities include event planning, execution, staffing, promotion, maintenance, evaluation and accreditation of continuing education programs and services. The position will also provide administrative support to the association’s Education Committee.

Promote a positive customer experience for all participants of ARVC meetings and events;
Maintain filings and reports required of Accredited Providers in compliance with rules issued by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET);
Maintain data and verify accuracy related to Continuing Education Units (CEUs), class content, instructors, evaluations, student contact information, event attendance, program enrollment, CEUs earned and other pertinent information;
Plan logistics for education programs and events: facilities, housing, meeting room sets, stage sets, A/V, signage placement, F&B, entertainment, travel, transportation, security, insurance requirements, etc. (conferences, education seminars, board meetings, committee meetings, networking events);
Provide onsite coordination to ensure all arrangements are executed properly;
Manage administrative timelines for the education team, working with appropriate staff to update project management tools with applicable information on timelines, progress updates, reminders, etc.;
Serve as a resource for Education Committee members, volunteer faculty and volunteer event ambassadors;
Manage speaker and instructor confirmations/agreements and logistics arrangements;
Administer attendee registration workflow and event modules in the association management system;
Coordinate with marketing team to ensure event marketing communications and assets are delivered per strategic timelines for each event;
Assist with education material production and distribution of meeting materials;
Prepare attendee evaluation forms and merge evaluation data into post-event report;
Manage conference mobile app;
Order event supplies and coordinate packing/shipping of event materials;
Field incoming general education calls and monitor the education informational email inbox;
Invoice for fees and expenses related to continuing education seminars; and
Support the overall goals and objectives of the organization through additional responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree in subject area related to position responsibilities;
3+ years of professional experience in developing/executing medium to large, complex educational programs and events (nonprofit or association experience preferred);
2+ years of experience working with adult curricula models and/or online learning management systems;
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint;
Proficiency in the use of association management software;
Strong ability to manage confidential information;
Proven success in customer service and problem resolution;
Working knowledge of web meeting services and online learning management systems, a plus;
Willingness and ability to travel within the United States; and
This position requires occasional lifting, up to 30 pounds individually or 50 pounds with assistance, when working with event materials.
