The Florida Chamber of Commerce, “Florida’s Business Advocate," seeks a Sales Support Coordinator, in the Office of the President to join our growing team in Tallahassee. As Florida’s business advocate, the Florida Chamber believes free enterprise is the key to making Florida more competitive and encourages applicants who share this belief to apply.
This position is responsible for leading the Florida Chamber executive internal sales support initiative. The Sales Support Coordinator, Office of the President will work closely with the CEO/President to assist in coordinating sales activities as well as providing administrative support to assist in exceeding annual enterprise revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities: • Researches companies and identifies likely customers • Manages leads including follow up by maintaining and updating sales pipelines • Sets sales calls • Provides sales material – (keeps current) • Manages travel calendar • Collaborate across enterprise to assist with deliverables • Prepare and maintain Sales Team status reports
Knowledge: • Extremely well organized, possessing the ability to coordinate multiple projects and manage multiple stakeholders across the organization, including leadership team. • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines • Self-starter who thrives under pressure, ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong organizational, detail, and communication skills • Positive attitude, versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams • Possesses good judgement, initiative and decision-making skills; anticipates problems • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint & Word • Experience in Association database a plus • Experience with membership organizations preferred but not required
