The senior associate, education supports ACA’s educational and professional development goals. The incumbent will report to the senior vice president of education and health policy and provide support for all continuing education programs. The senior associate serves as the project manager and uses instructional design methodology to develop multiple educational products to include webinars and online learning modules. The incumbent will manage multiple, fast-paced projects and must have strong communication and organizational skills.
Develop and administer in-person as well as web-based educational products and materials using instructional design methodology.
Serve as primary contact for speakers and manage all related speaker processes (speaker database management, speaker agreements and content management).
Manage implementation of association webinars including overseeing the technology to deploy the webinars.
Manage all aspects of ACA’s e-learning platform, including: oversight and implementation of online courses and backend learning management system (LMS) reporting and customer support.
Create and manage evaluations for all ACA educational events (including meetings, webinars, workshops, online programs, etc.).
Responsible for the administration of continuing education units (CEU) submissions, certificates, and history.
Ensures quality control and consistency of content that are required components of education programs to meet the continuing education unit (CEU) compliance requirements.
Assist with administrative duties, as assigned.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2-3 years of related project management and program coordination experience
Experience using instructional design methodology to develop educational programming.
Experience developing eLearning courses and storyboards/ scripts for learning videos
Excellent organizational, planning, writing, project management and communications skills
Self-directed, highly professional, and collaborative
Exceptional organizational and follow-through abilities
Solid problem solving, analytical, and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and to complete a high volume of work and meet deadlines and attention to detail
Proactive approach and ability to think things through, anticipate solutions and next steps, and see the bigger picture
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; familiarity utilizing online tools and updating website information; and an openness to embracing new technology
Association and LMS experience is strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in education, science or a health-related field or equivalent work experience
