Responsible for developing, implementing and ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of the core systems and administrative services that support the fundraising activities and goals and objectives of the AMGA Foundation.
Manages and is responsible for the flawless operation of gift and pledge processing and acknowledgment
Manages/updates the electronic donor database (IMIS) or other databases
Maintains and updates Comprehensive and annual campaign pledges and donations
Prepares weekly reports on pledges outstanding, balances due, invoices to be sent out
Acts as a liaison to internal AMGA departments (Finance, Legal, Membership, Administration, etc.) and external customers (donors/prospects, vendors, etc.) on behalf of the Foundation.
Works closely with and provides direct support to the Executive Director in coordinating and monitoring the administrative, financial and budgetary resources of the Foundation.
Does an annual best practices assessment of development systems workflow and processes to ensure smooth functioning
Manages the logistics for all meetings initiated within the Development Dept.: CCR, Board Meetings, Comprehensive Campaign meetings and others as directed
3-5 years of management experience in a foundation, development office or non-profit administrative services environment.
Preferred Special Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong organizational, analytical, verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills required.
Expert at spreadsheets, project management, word processing and other software programs related to job responsibilities
Interpersonal skills necessary to deal with prospects and donors, especially in dealing with outstanding pledges
Ability to take on multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail
Collaborative team skills
Experience and insight into trade association/nonprofit operating systems and ability to navigate successfully through them.
