The Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), a non-profit medical specialty association located in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois, seeks an Education Director to assist in developing the short and long term strategic direction for the association’s educational program; to direct and oversee all live and e-learning activities; and manage and maintain CME certification compliance.
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education, business, or a related field (graduate degree and CAE preferred); at least 8-10 years of experience leading an education/accreditation department, preferably within an association; strong working knowledge of continuing education statutory regulations, guidelines and practices, including the maintenance of certification requirements; supervisory experience; strong business acumen; excellent oral and written communication skills; hands-on experience in developing, planning, organizing, implementing, and managing adult educational programs in a variety of venues; and experience and skill in modern electronic and teaching technologies.
