The American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) is seeking an individual for an Operations Manager role. The Operations Manager, reporting directly to and working closely with the COO, is an integral part of the Executive Office team and will work with all of ADHA’s divisions. This role will be responsible for coordinating efforts in two key areas: Operations and Human Resources.

Monitor division related actions of the strategic and annual operating plans
Manage, monitor and assess ADHA’s IT budget to ensure technology support is optimized
Facilitate project management, accountability and successful outcomes on prioritized IT initiatives and assigned corporate development projects with ADHA staff
Lead ADHA’s volunteer management (identification, promotion and procurement)
Manage ADHA’s Leadership Development Committee
Serve as a primary point of contact for ADHA staff regarding HR issues not related to compensation and benefits
Facilitate the performance appraisal process
Lead ADHA’s staff onboarding, training and development and knowledge management efforts
Partner with COO in enhancing ADHA’s work culture for increased job satisfaction and productivity
5+ years Operations or Human Resource experience, preferably in a non-profit association, or experience in project management.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related area.
Outstanding project and fiscal management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Experienced in affecting change.
Proficiency in MS Office and preferably Zoom.
Proven ability to work independently and successfully manage concurrent projects with attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to lead and foster positive and productive working relationships with internal staff and external contractors.
