The National Association of Parliamentarians, a non-profit association located near the historic district of Independence, MO, seeks a full-time Membership/Communications Coordinator . This position will be responsible for managing NAP’s member database, developing membership promotions and communications, providing superior member/customer service, and coordinating with volunteer leaders.
Strategize and lead efforts to develop membership promotions & materials.
Develop tactics in conjunction with volunteer leaders to build membership, promote annual meetings, and other membership programs and services.
Develop monthly membership e-newsletter and other internal communications.
Prepare and submit regular reports detailing membership trends.
Produce annual membership directory.
Update membership records as necessary.

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with a wide variety of constituencies

Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills

Experience with member services efforts
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Experience with databases
Knowledge of Constant Contact or similar products
Required Experience: 3+ years of membership services (including database experience); not for profit experience (preferred)
