The licensing and business development position position serves as a primary contact for ANSI's Publications Sales Department with standards developing organizations (SDOs), commercial third party distributors and other relevant third parties for the purposes of identifying and evaluating new business and revenue opportunities resulting in licensing relationships, partnerships and strategic alliances.
Primary responsibility also includes drafting, reviewing, modifying and executing commercial license agreements and contacts with third parties as well as sales subscription agreements with ANSI customers and members to facilitate the maintenance and expansion of ANSI's publications sales programs.

We are looking for an individual with
8-10 years of experience negotiating and drafting licenses agreements and contracts
8-10 years of experience managing intellectual property and copyrighted materials
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software support tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail
Strong problem solving skills with a business-focused attitude
Sound judgment in prioritizing workload in a fast-paced environment
Team player with the ability to self-start and work independently
Strong interpersonal skills
