American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) is seeking an individual to join our team in a newly created position, Project Coordinator. This ‘tech-savvy’ role will be the lead on the coordination of our highly attended webinars, support ADHA’s speakers and members, participate in program marketing, along with responsibilities for general project management within Professional Development and Membership Engagement.

Provide outstanding customer service and support of the Professional Development & Member Engagement divisions. Specifically, handle calls and emails from members, nonmembers, and constituent/component officers.
Coordinate assigned special committees, ad hoc groups and task forces, including minutes, development of annual reports and action item follow up.
Coordinate awards programs for both leadership and accomplishments in dental hygiene as well as membership and student awards.
Support live webinars for continuing education and member engagement (includes conducting test with speaker, running chat function, monitoring questions during the presentation).
Work with Strategic Communications Division in development, review and implementation of marketing efforts including email and social media.
Handle CE event registration, answer registration phone calls, and provide support to attendees who need assistance with registration and gaining access to webinars, CE events, etc.
Work with Senior Manager of Professional Development in selection, scheduling and execution of in person CE courses at association’s Annual Conference.
Act as point person for all CE speakers.
Assist in coordination of Undergraduate/Graduate research competition and Research Poster Session at Annual Conference.
Monitor and update CE resources.
Assist member engagement team in the development and execution of membership presentations and webinars.
Assist in executing tactical plans for student and new professional programs.
One to three years’ experience in a service-oriented industry and administrative Association or nonprofit experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Communications or marketing degree preferred.
Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications coupled with excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills and keen attention to detail are a must.
Candidate must be detail oriented, proactive and have the ability to manage multiple priorities from different supervisors.
Previous experience with data entry and working with an Association Management System (AMS) is a plus.
Ability to travel to ADHA’s yearly conference.
