This position will lead all day to day analytic product development and maintenance activities by working with hospitals, staff, medical director, committees, and others to identify needs, gaps, and areas for update and improvement in current deliverables in order to support the Committee on Trauma (COT) mission to assist hospitals to improve care for the injured patient. Provide comprehensive project management and support for all Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) analytic products, including benchmark reports, data quality reports, web-based data applications, collaborative research projects, and ad-hoc reports. This entails tracking the progress of reports through analytic cycles, maintaining the analytic specifications for reports, change management and documentation, establishing standard operating procedures, and coordinating between statistical staff and program staff.
This exempt position will report to the Manager, Data and Report Operations in the Division of Research & Optimal Patient Care.
• Lead staff teams, committees, and work groups on the development and implementation of content for analytic deliverables.
• Lead product development efforts by interfacing with participants, staff, researchers, experts to define reporting/analytic products, assess feasibility, and translate into detailed requirements. Conduct evaluations, focus groups, etc. to obtain necessary input.
• Manage day to day report process. Develop and implement standard operating procedures for report processes to ensure consistency, maintain documentation, and establish a careful decision-making framework. Coordinate communications across teams and staff leadership to achieve consensus on report contents and changes..
• Provide analytic consultation to quality teams within trauma centers and systems to help them to understand their benchmark reports and interpret results. Serve as the primary customer support representative for questions related to benchmark reports and related deliverables.

• Bachelor’s Degree in data-related discipline from an accredited college or university is required; Master’s Degree in Public Health or related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management and/or data analytics (required).
• Experience with customer service, development of educational content, and/or development of standard reports (preferred).
• Experience with the research process and performance improvement concepts is (preferred).
• Ability to represent complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) necessary to effectively interact with all levels of organization.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); ability to perform basic queries using SAS is a plus.
• Display high level of energy and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to plan and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Ability to establish strong working relationships with all division teams and management.
Physical/Work Environment: Fast paced with significant people interaction. No lifting over 20 pounds, minimal reaching bending and stooping. Performs work in a normal office environment with long hours in front of the computer.
Other Necessary Requirements: Evening or weekend duties may be required. Moderate travel for activities such as out of town conferences is required.
