Provide project management/admin support for Digestive HealthWorks’ clients, including NYSGE, NOSCAR and NASSCD, as well as Chief Operating Officer. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining membership lists, processing dues payments, processing registrations for programs and courses, maintaining association files, handling general administrative responsibilities and interfacing with members on a regular basis. Responsibility for managing association websites and social media activity.
Provide project management/admin support for Association for Bariatric Endoscopy. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, recruiting and maintaining members, managing membership lists, processing dues payments, processing registrations for programs and courses, maintaining association files, handling general administrative responsibilities and interfacing with members on a regular basis. Responsibility for managing association web and social media presence and website.
Serves as general Operations Team back-up; front desk coverage, event coverage, project coordination. Duties include, but are not limited to, understanding building operations systems, interface with vendors, set-up arrangements for events and programs, providing support for Sales and Event Services managers as well as onsite support for events, as needed.
Requires an Associate’s degree or a minimum of 7 years experience as an Executive Assistant, executive/leadership support professional or related position. Must have an understanding of association management principles, business structure and basic administrative concepts. Past experience in association management is required. Knowledge of association systems and website management is desired.
Skills: Excellent PC and verbal communication skills including proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Abilities: Prioritize and execute special projects with limited guidance, anticipating next steps, taking initiative, exercising discretion and sound judgment and being sensitive to deadlines. Understanding the organization as being very politically careful and discrete, desire and aptitude for learning new concepts quickly, ability to demonstrate a history of working independently and ability disseminate information clearly and concisely.
