The Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration oversees all accounting and financial reporting, human resources, information technology, and office operations/administration of the organization
Supervises the Senior Director, Finance & Administration. Supervises the Finance & Administration Department Responsible for all financial reporting and financial communication with all Chamber staff, Board and its committees Leads the annual operating budget project Oversees human resources for all Chamber departments Participates in implementation of the Chamber’s 10-year vision plan Manages vendor support for information technology Serves as a member of the senior staff leadership team Responsible for all accounting and internal control functions of the Chamber Represents the Chamber at assigned public events Provides support for other employees and departments Documents all work processes and procedures thoroughly and accurately Other tasks as requested.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, relatable Master’s Degree preferred Minimum of 8 years accounting experience with 5 years of direct supervisory experience required Experience in nonprofit organizations preferred Strongly prefer experience supervising the human resource function Prefer experience supervising IT functions Project management experience strongly preferred Excellent communication skills Must conduct yourself in a professional manner Able to perform job function with a minimum of daily supervision Experience with and proficiency in using Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and QuickBooks Ability to learn and effectively and efficiently use Chamber management and database software Committed to service excellence in all areas
