The Senior PSH Engagement Associate implements, project manages and evaluates the Perioperative Surgical Home’s Learning Collaborative (PSHLC) Dedicated Partner Program and continuing education portfolio. As the primary Dedicated Partner Program contact, this individual executes the daily operations of the program and cultivates and fosters PSH LC member (physicians and their care teams) relationships. Ensures that PSHLC members are coached and supported in defining and reaching PSH pilot goals through the entire PSH pilot cycle from concept to implementation.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
Manages PSHLC member engagement as part of the Dedicated Partner Program. Strategically seeks to understand PSHLC member needs, their business, how success is defined, and ensure that the Dedicated Partner Program is exceeding expectations in delivery and developing valued solutions.
Plays an active role in analyzing PSHLC member project goals, assisting in creating a plan to achieve those goals, and then driving the PSH team members, stakeholders, and SMEs to achieve those goals while understanding the client environment and any limitations to execution.
Serve as a project manager to PSHLC member relationships.
Identifies and in collaboration with PSH leadership, develops key resources to support PSH LC members with PSH pilot goals (Webinars, User Guides, etc.).
Collaborates with ASA IT and Marketing departments to ensure Dedicated Partner Program website content is accurate, current and valuable.
Identifies system and process issues and notifies PSH team and SMEs for resolution.
Establishes and manages the newly accredited ASA’s PSH American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) portfolio program.
Researches and presents recommendations regarding organizational behavior management (including engagement and culture change) that are essential for health care improvement and innovation.
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in health administration, business administration, public health or another related field preferred.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a health care related field with responsibility for program implementation and coaching.
Previous experience in project management, planning, and execution required. Experience working with physicians, health care leaders, and health care organizations is preferred.
Working knowledge of process of health care delivery in multiple settings (e.g., ambulatory settings, hospitals) and managing the health of a population.
