Purpose: Plan, manage, and execute all events for the association as well as manage association programs.
Event Responsibilities: •Plan, manage, and execute all events for the association (approximately 20 networking and educational events per year) including Annual Expo, Annual Golf Tournament, and three-day Annual Convention •Serve as the primary contact for event questions and information •Negotiate and review contracts •Handle event prep (badges, paperwork, packing lists, materials) and on-site event supervision) •Manage speakers and information •Manage and coordinate registrations, sponsorships, and exhibitors •Manage and review event budgets and billing •Coordinate and manage various event vendors •Participate in Education and Networking Committee meetings •Participate in Chapter meetings as necessary •Work with bookkeeper to code event bills and receipts for financials Programs Responsibilities: •Serve as the primary contact for membership questions and information •Process membership, Certified Mortgage Lender (CML), and Mortgage Leadership Program (MLP) applications •Create and manage membership and CML certificates, packets, and files •Send membership expiration notices and manage expired and current members •Manage MLP applications, documents, and participants •Manage membership meetings, documents, and reports •Manage Ambassador Committee google doc and various reports •Create Membership and CML reports for Board •Provide membership and CML info to Marketing and Communications Manager monthly for website and social media •Maintain and manage database system (CiviCRM) •Participate in Membership and Ambassador Committee Meetings
Desired Experience & Requirements: •Expert planning, managing, and coordinating skills •CRM experience including data management and reporting •Detail oriented and organized •Excellent written and oral communication skills •Experience working in a fast-paced environment with ability to successfully multitask •Self-starter, willing to alternate between independent and team work •Excellent proof-reading and editing skills •Ability to lift up to 30 pounds •Minimal in-state travel required
Additional Preferred Experience: •Trade Association or Nonprofit background •Volunteer supervising * CMP
