To lead all aspects of marketing the Association, CTA events and services. This includes strategy development, recruitment and lead generation, engagement and event marketing.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
CTA Member Engagement and Retention
Lead the development and implementation of the CTA marketing plan, designed to engage and retain CTA members and generate dues and non-dues revenue.
Develop and implement strategies to engage and retain CTA members and deepen member involvement and support.
Lead all marketing efforts for CTA events and evaluate their effectiveness.
Lead onboarding program and outreach efforts to current/non-active members increase member participation and satisfaction.
Monitor member satisfaction; recommend solutions and enhancements to increase satisfaction.
Work closely with membership and communications to develop association-wide programs for greatest member impact.
CTA Member Recruitment and Lead Generation
Own the recruitment and lead management process. Work collaboratively with membership to ensure leads are qualified.
Measure, analyze, and report campaign performance and deliver regular campaign performance briefs to leadership.
Track funnel marketing metrics and provide recommendations.
Work with the data director to manage list segmentation and scoring to deliver more targeted and relevant messaging to improve engagement.
Execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive prospect engagement.
Work closely with internal and external resources to create inbound leads via SEO, SEM, content, etc.
Manage and meet campaign budgets and timelines.
Other duties as required by business needs.
Budget and Staff:
Track budget numbers for projects and programs. Ensure projects stay within assigned budgets
At least 8-10 years’ of marketing, project planning and leadership experience desired
Previous team involvement and project leadership
Previous membership recruitment and engagement experience preferred
Knowledge of both trade shows and association field preferred
Bachelors degree in marketing, business or related field of study strongly preferred or commensurate experience.
Proficient in word processing/spreadsheet software (Excel) and project management software
Excellent written and oral communications skills necessary
Must have a strong team orientation
Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously
