The Northeast Spa and Pool Association is looking to hire a Program Coordinator to support our Marketing and Education departments. Responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:
Marketing and Communications Support:
Reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications
Proofread marketing materials
Under the supervision of the Director, regularly updates social media channels with approved content.
Creates email campaigns to support overall marketing initiatives.
Assists the Director in writing content for promotional materials.
Education program support:
Support Director of Education in organizing logistics for large education conference as well as series of stand alone education events through out the year.
Utilize membership database to organize and keep current student records.
Communicate with speakers and partner organizations around educational needs, materials purchasing and inventory.
Create, edit, and proofread course descriptions and promotional content.
Collect and review course materials, assist Education Director in making edits to material, including Power Point presentations.
Assist with registration and audio/visual set-up for course programs.
Work with chapter affiliates to coordinate local education programs.
The Program Assistant position is an entry level position with our association. Non-profit or trade association experience not required, but any experience with membership based organizations, either professionally or as a volunteer, would be helpful in acclimating to the role. The right candidate will be comfortable working in a team environment and servicing multiple projects and priorities through out the year. A positive attitude towards service customers, students and members is a must, as well as a positive and collaborative approach to working with others on the NESPA staff team.
This position is an office position, no work from home available is at this time. Full benefits, including 401k with company match, are available.
Experience in education or program management preferred.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft office suite preferred.
