Here are some of your responsibilities at DCAT:
Create compelling marketing copy for email, web, social posts, and video scripts
Manage the execution of marketing communication tactics, including emails, mobile apps, print, and online ads, and ensure branding is consistent across all channels
Maintain and update the organization's websites to ensure content is current and consistent with other deliverables
Execute strategic social media campaigns and oversee organization's presence and activity on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
Monitor and discern best practices and current trends in social media, advertising, and other digital marketing avenues to implement best practices and maintain the organization’s competitive edge communicate best practices in social media copy and discern which competitive ideas are most effective
Follow brand standards and style guides to write engaging content that is appropriate for the organization’s membership
Know-how and abilities:
At least 4 years of relevant experience at an association, ad agency or in-house marketing team
Degree in English, Marketing, Communications or related field with above-standard proof-reading skills
Proven experience in writing copy for cross-channel marketing campaigns and promotions
Strong proficiency in email delivery platforms and WordPress preferred
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products preferred
Excellent communication skills with a firm understanding of UX design
Extremely organized and detailed oriented, time management skills
Strong ability to maintain accuracy and consistency while handling multiple deadlines
Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus
What your success as DCAT’s Digital Copywriter means: Our members will see our messages across various platforms and understand their relevancy, feel informed, enjoyed reading them, and if necessary, will readily act on them.
NOTE: DCAT is a small-staffed association of twelve employees headquartered in central New Jersey. DCAT works in a secure cloud environment, where you can access files from work or home. Employees are required to attend the organization’s annual event for five days in New York City each year and in the office on an as-needed basis if feasible.
